WEDDING CATERING

SEASONAL, SUSTAINABLE WEDDING FOOD

We have been catering for weddings since 2013, and we have worked in just about every setting you can imagine: on a snowy hillside, in a pretty woodland, on a windy beach! We have even enjoyed a bit of island hopping to cater for weddings off Scotland’s West Coast. Whilst our original Land Rover and Field Kitchen set up means we’re up for a challenge, most of our weddings take place in one of the many beautiful venues we are listed with.

We use our knowledge and experience to offer the best style of catering unique to each venue. That might mean using in-house catering facilities, bringing in our own cooking equipment, or using our original set-up. It might even mean a combination of all three! The best approach will depend on the time of year, and the style of wedding you are planning.

At Wild Rover Food we ensure a seamless and personal planning experience with our planning team; from creative menu design to table styling and event day set up, we are directly on hand to guide and support you every step of the way. On your wedding day, our Event Manager leads our team in bringing your vision to life!

WE ENCOURAGE A RELAXED COMMUNAL APPROACH TO EATING, WHERE GUESTS SHARE FOOD AS WELL AS CONVERSATION!

When it comes to the food itself, our menus showcase the best ingredients from local producers and farmers. Our longstanding relationships with the people who rear, grow and make the produce used in our dishes means we have true traceability with most of our menu. We like to share that information with your guests, through our menu cards or by introducing the food at the start of the meal.

Our style of cooking is honest and generous; we encourage a relaxed communal approach to eating, where guests share food as well conversation! From our delicious canapes to our Wild Rover Grazing Tables and family-style menus, we aim to create a feast which gets your guests talking.

We cater for all dietary requirements, and it is not uncommon for us to cook up a fully vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free menu too. We are as excited by ingredients grown in the soil as we are by those which have grazed on it! We take our veggie inspiration from chefs such as Gill Meller, Yotam Ottolenghi and Anna Jones.

If you have your own ideas about favourite dishes, or fond food memories, we are always happy to see if we can incorporate those too!

WILD ROVER REVIEWS

Ali and Siobhan // Crail Community Hall

“Wild Rover played a pivotal role in making our wedding day fun, fuss-free and cosy. From the initial planning stages to the final bite on our wedding day, their team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and culinary expertise that truly made our wedding unforgettable. I was drawn to Wild Rovers’ ethos of sustainable, local food, and loved the idea of the dishes being so carefully thought through and shared with guests family-style. They truly deliver on what they promised. We cannot recommend Wild Rover enough to you— their food was brilliant, but more than that, they were a supplier that went above and beyond to make our day special.”

“From the first call with Wild Rover Food to the delivery at the wedding, they have been nothing short of amazing.
The feedback on the food has been exceptional!! Every guest who we’ve spoken to has mentioned it and we’ve
had numerous comments such as “the best food we’ve ever had a wedding”.

Sarah and Robbie // Cow Shed, Crail

We genuinely cannot thank you and your team enough for your incredible food and service on our wedding day. So many guests commented on how amazing the food was - many saying it was the best food they’d ever had at at a wedding, and some saying it was the ‘least wedding-type food’ they had ever had - which I think is exactly what we were hoping for! Food was such an important part of our day and we’re so happy that all of our guests loved it as much as we did.”
