What’s included in your food offering?
Our standard wedding offering includes either:
3 canapes per person, a 3-course sharing style dinner and a tea/coffee station OR A Wild Rover grazing table (including 8 dishes), a 2-course sharing style dinner and a tea/coffee station

Do you do late night food?
Yes! If you would like to add late night food onto your wedding or event, we can certainly do that. We have a great selection of late-night food options from you to choose from.

Are we able to suggest dishes / cuisines we want on our menu?
Yes! We have a fantastic (and delicious!) range of dishes on our seasonal menus, however we are always open to hearing about themes you are interested in showcasing on your menu. Our kitchen team love to get creative and would be happy to discuss bespoke dishes with you.

Where do you source your meat from?
We have a range of brilliant local farms and butchers that we source our meat from. Check out our ‘Suppliers’ page on our website for a more information.

Do you offer kids food?
We have a delicious two course children’s menu which you can add on for your little ones attending your event. Our children’s meal is £15.00 per child.

Do you provide vendor meals?
Yes, we are happy to keep your other vendors well fed throughout your event. You can add on a vendor meal for £15.00 per person.

Do you provide crockery and cutlery?
Yes! Included in all our catering offerings is our vintage style enamel crockery and stainless steel cutlery. There is no additional charge for this.

Do you provide napkins and menus?
Yes! We provide Vegware’s soft brown recycled napkins for the dinner. We also can print two complementary brown card menus per dinner table if you would like – just request these with us in advance. There are no additional charges for these.

Do you cater for allergies / dietaries?
Absolutely! No allergy or dietary is too big or small for us. Your dedicated planner will discuss your guest’s dietaries during the planning process, and we will make the necessary amendments to your menu.

Do you offer drinks packages?
Yes, no matter what style of drinks service you are looking for, we will have a suitable package to meet your needs. Whether you want to provide your own drinks and have Wild Rover provide the glassware and drinks staff, or you would prefer for us to handle the drinks sourcing as well, we have you covered.

Do you provide glassware for the table?
We can do, however, this is also dependent on the venue you are hosting your wedding/event at, as some venues handle everything related to glassware themselves.

Do you offer a bar service?
Yes, we can provide a fully-stocked handmade wooden bar with a qualified bar team, as well as the drinks licence from the local authority.

What does your team wear / uniform?
Our team’s standard uniform at events includes a smart denim shirt, trousers and comfortable smart black shoes.

What’s your minimum and maximum numbers for weddings?
For weddings, our minimum numbers are usually 60 adults, and our largest weddings usually sit around 220 adults. If your numbers are slightly lower or higher, please do still reach out and we will be happy to discuss options.

Do you take a deposit?
To confirm you would like to book our services, we take a £500.00 deposit, including VAT

How do you take payment?
We take payment in the form of bank transfer/ BACS. Our bank details are provided on all invoices issued. We can also accept credit card payments via our business Paypal account – this incurs a 2.9% Paypal fee.

Do you offer a styling service?
We don’t offer an in-house styling service; however we are more than happy to pass you the details of other brilliant suppliers we frequently work with who will be able to assist you.

Do you offer a planning service?
Yes! All our clients receive a dedicated event planner when they book with us as part of your catering package – there is no additional fee for this service. Your planner will work closely with you in the lead up to your event to dot all the I’s and cross all the T’s.

Do you supply tables and chairs?
We do not offer table and chair hire but we are happy to recommend other suppliers who can do this.

Will you always bring the field kitchen?
Our ex-army field kitchen allows us to cater an event in any location, no matter how remote it is! If you have a wedding or event taking place where there is no commercial kitchen on site or access to kitchen facilities, then we will bring our field kitchen. If your wedding or event is taking place in a venue where there is a commercial kitchen or kitchen facilities on site then we use these facilities on site and our field kitchen is not usually required. If you have specific questions about the use of the field kitchen at your wedding or event, speak to a member of our team who will be happy to discuss this with you.

Can I taste the food before the wedding?
Absolutely! We host two group taster events each year which you will be invited to attend once you have booked with us. Usually these take place in February and November.

Do you have an Event Manager on the day?
Yes, we always have one of our brilliant Event Managers on site at your event. They will be your point of contact on the day, and they will be around to ensure the day runs smoothly when it comes to all things food!

When will Wild Rover arrive to set up on the day?
This is dependent on the venue your event/wedding is taking place at as well as the menu you have chosen.

Will Wild Rover set up the day before?
This is dependent on the venue your event/wedding is taking place at as well as the menu you have chosen, however for most events we usually set up the morning of the event.

Do you set the tables and chairs up?
Whilst we do not set up the tables and chairs in the room, our team are super helpful and always willing to get stuck in when help is needed!
